Advances in digital technology have provided significant opportunities to improve the quality of learning in early childhood and elementary schools. This article is the result of a systematic literature review aimed at exploring the impact of digital learning media on the development of children's critical questioning skills. The method used was a systematic literature review, analyzing 20 articles published between 2015 and 2024 that were relevant to the topic. The analysis was conducted to identify patterns, the role of digital media, and factors supporting its effectiveness. The results of the study indicate that interactive, game-based digital learning media equipped with artificial intelligence-based pedagogical agents contribute positively to increasing the frequency, quality, and complexity of children's questions. A digital multiliteracy environment that utilizes text, images, videos, and collaborative activities can encourage creative exploration and critical reflection. Local findings indicate that the integration of digital technology with active learning strategies, such as question-and-answer methods, projects, and inquiries, has a significant impact on the development of critical questioning skills. The successful use of technology is strongly influenced by the quality of media design, teacher involvement, and infrastructure support. This article emphasizes the need for digital literacy training for teachers, the development of relevant curricula, and policies that support equitable access to technology. Further research is recommended to evaluate the long-term impact of digital media on critical questioning skills and the effectiveness of technology across cultural contexts.
