Abstract

Digital transformation has emerged as a strategic phenomenon that fundamentally reshapes the landscape of business, management, and social interaction. This study aims to examine the role of digital transformation as a driver of innovation and an enabler of sustainable management practices. Using a systematic literature review approach, this research critically analyzes various studies indexed in reputable journals, focusing on the interrelationship between digitalization, innovation, and organizational sustainability. The findings reveal that digital transformation not only enhances operational efficiency and effectiveness but also acts as a catalyst for open innovation, strengthens cross-sector collaboration, and supports the adoption of adaptive business models in response to global market dynamics. Furthermore, digitalization plays a crucial role in fostering transparent and accountable governance while promoting environmentally friendly practices. However, the results also highlight challenges such as limited digital capabilities, human resource gaps, and unequal access to technology, which may hinder the transformation process. Therefore, integrating digital strategies with sustainability visions and encouraging cross-sector collaboration are essential to maximizing the potential of digital transformation. This study contributes theoretically by broadening the understanding of the nexus between digitalization, innovation, and sustainability, while also offering practical implications for organizations in developing digital transformation strategies that are inclusive, ethical, and future-oriented. Accordingly, digital transformation can be positioned as a key driving force in fostering sustainable innovation amid the complexities of global disruption
