About the Journal

Journal of Interdisciplinary Tourism Sciences (JITOURS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that explores the dynamic and evolving field of tourism through an interdisciplinary lens. The journal publishes original researches that integrate insights from the scope encompasses: Hospitality Management, Creative Economy, Moslem-Friendly Tourism, Destination Management, Sustainable Tourism Development, Cultural Tourism, Smart Tourism, Special Interest Tourism and Event Tourism. With a strong emphasis on the scientific and theoretical development of tourism studies, the journal aims to advance understanding of tourism as a complex phenomenon. It serves as a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to engage in critical discussions and share innovative approaches to inclusive tourism development across global and local contexts. The journal is published two times a year by Global Cendekia Inti, in June and December, with the electronic ISSN XXXX-XXXX.
