About the Journal

Jurnal Hukum Berkeadaban (JHB) is a scholarly publication committed to presenting legal studies that go beyond normative and positivistic dimensions, emphasizing instead the values of humanity, morality, and public ethics. This journal was founded on the awareness that law should fundamentally function as a social institution that upholds human dignity, maintains balance, and promotes the creation of a just and sustainable civilization. JHB published three times a year by Global Cendekia Inti, with registered number of e-ISSN XXXX-XXXX.

With a scope encompassing national law, customary law, international law, Islamic law, and developments in modern law in the digital era, JHB serves as a platform for academics, legal practitioners, policymakers, and activists to share research findings, critical analyses, and constructive thought.

The journal’s primary focus lies on issues that position law as a means of achieving substantive justice—not merely as a formal instrument. Topics covered include legal reform, integrity-based law enforcement, human rights protection, value-based legal reconstruction, and the role of law in building a peaceful and civilized society.
