Pariwisata Budaya dan Ekonomi Kreatif dalam Penelitian Pariwisata Kontemporer: Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis tentang Pendekatan Interdisipliner
Keywords:
Cultural tourism, Creative Economy, systematic Literature Review, InterdisciplinaryAbstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between cultural tourism and the creative economy in contemporary tourism research using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with an interdisciplinary perspective. This study reviewed 75 peer-reviewed articles published between 2000 and 2025, obtained from reputable international databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Thematic and bibliometric analyses were conducted to identify research trends, methodologies, key themes, disciplinary integration, and the social and economic impacts of creative tourism. The results indicate that the integration of cultural tourism and the creative economy significantly contributes to the development of sustainable, innovative, and inclusive destinations. Key findings include: (1) the importance of authenticity and cultural experiences as key factors in tourist satisfaction; (2) the role of innovation and creativity through creative tourism in creating unique tourism experiences and strengthening local economies; (3) local community engagement that enhances participation, ownership, and social sustainability; and (4) the need for an interdisciplinary approach to understand the complex interactions between culture, creativity, and the economy. This study also highlights research gaps, including limited longitudinal studies, geographic bias, and a lack of participatory community evaluation. Theoretically, this research strengthens an integrative conceptual framework that combines economic, social, and cultural values in creative tourism. Practically, these findings emphasize the importance of destination development strategies that incorporate local creativity, community engagement, innovative tourism experiences, and evidence-based policies. Recommendations for further research include longitudinal studies, cross-cultural research, and a more systematic interdisciplinary approach.
