This community service activity represents a synergy between the Arts Education Study Program at the University of Palangka Raya (UPR) and the Cultural Arts Subject Teacher Forum (MGMP) for junior high schools (SMP) in Palangka Raya City. The program aims to strengthen the role of cultural arts teachers as drivers of sustainable expression, education, and creation. This activity was carried out using a descriptive qualitative research method where the data sources were taken from scientific journals and academic books, a participatory-collaborative approach that emphasizes the active involvement of teachers and inter-institutional cooperation in developing competencies. The event began with a presentation titled "Cultural Arts Teachers as Movers: Expression, Education, and Sustainable Creation", designed to enhance teachers’ awareness and capacity to face the challenges of arts education within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This was followed by a reflective discussion session, where teachers shared experiences and collaboratively formulated contextually relevant and applicable teaching strategies. As a concrete follow-up, the activity concluded with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) between the Arts Education Study Program at UPR and several junior high schools in Palangka Raya. The results indicate strong enthusiasm from participants and the establishment of a foundation for ongoing collaboration in the development of arts education in the region.
