Hak-Hak Tubuh Perspektif Fikih Humanistik: Telaah Kitab Manba’ussa’âdah Kiai Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir

This article examines three fundamental human bodily rights—the right to food, the right to rest, and the right to sexual fulfillment—as elaborated by Kiai Faqihuddin Abdul Qadir in Manba’ussa’âdah. The study aims to reinterpret these bodily rights within a humanistic and contextual fiqh framework, while relating them to the challenges of modern life. The research employs a library-based method with content analysis of the Manba’ussa’âdah text, enriched by explanations of hadiths and classical scholars’ views, contextualized through a narrative-analytical approach. The findings reveal that Islam views the body as a divine trust that must be maintained in balance between physical and spiritual needs. The right to food emphasizes the principles of halal, tayyib, and moderation; the right to rest underscores the importance of proportional rhythms of work and recuperation; while the right to sexual fulfillment is understood as an integral part of preserving dignity and psychological well-being. The study concludes that respect for bodily rights is not merely a biological concern, but also an ethical and spiritual imperative, requiring collective awareness to foster a body-friendly religious culture amid the currents of modernity.
